We all ADORE this author.  She’s lives and Birmingham and this is the 2nd meeting she’s attended.  I was out of town (BEACH so not so horrible) and hated missing her in person!!! The ladies were completely thrilled she was able to attending.  We read her books in the summer months so that she’s more like to be able to pop in.  Are we lucky or what?!

I completely am smitten with the way she writes.   I first read The Hideaway and felt that I knew the characters by the end of the book and hated to see it close.  Wah.  Same for Hurrican Season! What a treat!!!  Not to give the book away – I’ll just say you need to read it!!!  Savor the journey with Lauren’s characters and settings.  I listend on audibe and luckliy had a southern narrator which makes ALL the difference.  I’m not sure if she had anything to do with choosing who read the book – great job!
