Fun meeting everyone!  For the very few (everyone actually) who got kissed (licked) by Pip the wonder scottie – she sends hugs and kisses (licks)! Seriously, the girls love company as you can tell!

Thanks to everyone who came out for our July meeting of the Birmingham Literary Society! We all agreed the book was humorous and funny – entertaining.  We gathered nibbles and vino to sit and begin our book club discussion and author bio.

Our guest for this meeting was W! My hubby! Even though he didn’t read the book he sat and listened to us giggle, talk and share information about the book, vacations, and anything else that came to mind.  Remember… book club is ‘Part Literary, Part Social and Part Therapy’ (my words… he he he).

Our book for next month is Georgia by Dawn Tripp.  I’ve read many books about Georgia O’Keefe.  I’m excited to see what unfolds about one of my favorite artists!
