Our March book is Madonna in a Fur Coat by Sabahattin Ali.  I can’t remember exactly who told me we must read this for book club — I’m very glad we did.  Thanks to who gave me the recommendation!  My first thought when I heard the title was I don’t know if really care to read about Madonna’s fur collection…. um no.

We met at Leslie’s (Thanks for hosting!  Always love being in your lovely home!).   We are in the middle of Spring Break season thus we had a small intimate group.  When I think about it only neighbors!

We settled into author bio on Sabahattin Ali which can be found <<HERE>>.     We learned Mr. Ali died under very mysterious circumstances because of his political beliefs (I’m so sick of anything political – aren’t you?).

Getting into the discussion about the book we all felt a life unfulfilled was the main theme.  So many layers to a person – you never know what’s really going on, or has happened in anyone’s life.    After reading the first third of the book I could not put it down waiting to see what halppened to Raif.   I don’t want to say too much for fear of giving it away.  Just read the book !
